On Cinco de Mayo, I was on my way to a family event when I was the victim of a hit-and-run car accident. My car was severely damaged, and as a student who depends on it for transportation to school and work, I’m now facing a huge challenge. Without my car, I’m struggling to keep up with my classes and my job, and it’s been a stressful time trying to figure out how to move forward.

 The accident has left me feeling overwhelmed and anxious about my future. I rely on my car every day to get to school, work, and help my family. Losing it so suddenly has made it difficult to stay on top of my responsibilities and maintain my independence.
