Help Cabrillo robotics blast off!

Challenged with not only creating and programming a high performing autonomous robot, but also inventing an item that allows for humans to stay alive, healthy and happy while living and working in outer space, the Cabrillo Middle School Robotics club soared to new heights. Participating in First Lego Leagues “Into Orbit” two teams from Cabrillo Middle School, the Rusty Sailors and the Riptide Robotics brought home first place for outstanding project (Rusty Sailors) and Overall Tournament Champions (Riptide Robotics).

We are hopeful that you can help us out with funding to advance these teams even further. We will use any funds collected for the following: Travel to tournaments (last year’s Rusty Sailors qualified for and attended the Razorback Invitational and world innovation awards), additional Lego parts for our robots, two new laptops to help with programming our robots, and patent assistance for both teams projects.

Both teams will now move on to the Los Angeles Championship at La Canada High School the weekend of Dec. 7.  Thanks for your support!
