Burrow, our 1-year and 8-month-old German Shepherd mix, has been a beloved part of our family since we adopted him. From the start, he struggled with anxiety and fear, but with patience and love, he began to trust us and settle into his new home. Unfortunately, Burrow’s journey took a difficult turn when he managed to open a car window and jumped out, resulting in a severe injury to his leg and a plexus injury. Despite months of physiotherapy and hope for recovery, an infection set in last week, making amputation necessary to save his life.

Watching Burrow go through pain and uncertainty has been incredibly hard for my son and our whole family. We’ve done everything we can to support him, and seeing his spirit improve with our care has been a source of hope. The costs of his emergency wound treatment at West Boston in Natick and the upcoming amputation surgery at Love in Life Veterinary Clinic in Fitchburg, MA are overwhelming for us. We want to give Burrow the best chance at a pain-free, happy life, and every bit of support will go directly toward his medical bills, surgery, and ongoing care.
