Burnt Church Film Club has always been about one thing - you, the audience! (okay, maybe pints and some Winona Ryder worship but you get the point...!)
The popularity of the club has exceeded all of our expectations, with guests such as Greg Sestero (The Room and Best F(r)iends), Dominique Pinon (Delicatessen and Amelie), Nicholas Vince (Hellraiser) and Katharina Kubrick (who worked on a number her father’s movies, including The Shining) visiting the club so far in 2018.
In response to your overwhelming feedback, we are working hard behind the scenes to bring more people you admire to our Church. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of what the club can offer, without losing sight of our core values.
Our prices have always remained low, and we want to keep it that way no matter what. This commitment, coupled with a maximum seating capacity of 80 people, mean hotel fares, flights and making sure our guests can be physically brought to Glasgow is becoming tougher than ever.
This is where we need your continued support... All of the money we make is spent on making this club better. We even dip in our own pockets to improve what we do.
On a number of occasions we have been SO close to some huge guests but simply had to say no as we can't afford the travel fees, etc. This is where we need your help.
With a donation of whatever you can afford, you're helping us bring guests from all over the world to the Church - whilst keeping the entry fee exactly the same!
