Wesley is my wonderful son who lives with epilepsy. Every day, we do our best to create a safe and joyful environment for him, but managing his condition can be challenging, especially when he wants to play outside. Wesley absolutely loves playgrounds and swings—they bring him so much happiness and help him feel free. However, his specific needs mean that a typical backyard playground isn't safe enough for him. We believe an ADA/commercial playground is the best option to ensure his safety and well-being.

These specialized playgrounds are designed for children with unique needs, but they come with a significant cost. Building one at home would allow Wesley to play, explore, and grow in a space where we can closely monitor his health and respond quickly if his epilepsy arises. It would mean the world to us to give Wesley a place where he can be himself and enjoy the simple joys of childhood without worry.
