<div>The Skatebarn is a staple in the Hampstead community. It's a home for hundreds, maybe thousands of people who seek refuge in the tin walls of the barn. With the recent changes in ownership and with the juggles of keeping the lights on, the Skatebarn team has decided to launch a Gofundme to help with the construction of our new indoor street course. The Skatebarn is better than it has been in a while; however, our monthly bills are expensive and each month we are living on pennies and dimes. At this rate, it would take many years to be able to save enough to get these renovations done...that's where you come in. Donating to this cause will help get our indoor street course where we want it, just as fast as we can raise funds to do so. Every cent we raise will go directly to new ramps and improvements on our current ramps. We've even gotten the legend who originally built many of the current ramps at the barn, including our beloved little bowl, to come back to design and build the new street course.

<div>The course was designed to replicate a previous setup in the barn's history. When we were deciding to redo the street course, we must have asked 1000 people what their favorite past design was at the Barn. This was nearly everyone's favorite setup, so we got with the designer, tweaked some things, and came up with this. We are still happy to hear suggestions and happy to make changes, but we know that we need a new street course and what it's going to cost to make it happen. We believe in the barn and truly believe that this will make a big difference in getting it put back on the radar as one of the best skateparks in the world. Skatebarn Forever!
