Help HHS build the Astro Turf Pitch #hammiesastro

Hamilton High School in Bandon is an all-boys post primary school which is 81 years in existence this year.
To cater for the needs of the students, the Board Of Management, Parents Association and staff are hoping to develop an astro turf pitch with a feature hurling wall on what is affectionately known as the top pitch. The all-weather facility will provide a modern space for P.E., a recreational space for students at lunch time and a much needed facility for training the school teams.
It will be of enormous benefit to both the current and future student populations, as not only will it will meet their need to play games, to enjoy PE and to get involved with the school teams, but they will experience the mental health benefits that are associated with regular physical exercise.
We have made great progress so far. The site has been fully cleared and the ground work is completed. It is hoped to have the facility ready to use when the boys return to school in September 2021.
Our target figure is 200,000 euro . We are asking local businesses , parents, past pupils and friends to help us make this dream become a reality!

Hamilton High School was founded by Mr Sean Hamilton in 1940 and in 1959 Hamilton High School relocated to Allen Square and resides here ever since. It provides second level education to the boys of Bandon and the surrounding parishes for the past eight decades, serving 22 feeder schools from Timoleague to Ballyheada and from Kilmurry to Ballinadee. #hammiesastro
