HELP US BUILD OUR FENCE! – Cat Sanctuary
A very generous donor is matching donations dollar for dollar up to $2,000!! That means we could have $4,000 more toward building our outdoor enclosure!
Better Days Rescue Fund takes in many special needs cats that will remain at our sanctuary for their lifetime. We are one of the few rescues that provide this kind of care. We have deaf and physically disabled cats, cats with chronic illnesses and some who are just older and afraid. For most, it is the first time they don’t have to struggle to survive after years of abandonment and neglect.
One of the most important parts of the new sanctuary is our outdoor enclosure. We experimented with a temporary fence made with materials we had on hand. We were amazed at the results! The cats are thriving! We have seen chronic health issues and behavioral issueS virtually disappear! They have the sun and grass to play in, a tree to climb and a spacious area to run full speed, romp and play!
We desperately need to replace the temporary fencing with a “real” cat fence that is more secure and covers a larger area.

Arthur's Story : We took this picture the day we rescued Arthur from the bitter winter cold. He has some chronic health issues, but is an affectionate, loving kitty today!
Gabriella's Story : Gabriella aka Gabby,has been with us since 2015 and she is our very precious deaf cat. Although being deaf does not stop her from talking, very loudly, all day long!
We guess she suffered a trauma (maybe hit by a car). Along with her deafness she has some neurological issues that make her a little unsteady. But that doesn't slow her down!
