<div><strong>A note on our full project plan: </strong>Following conversations with some investors, we have been asked to provide a comprehensive plan for the entire project, from preparing the land through to the construction and development of the village itself. We are currently working on this detailed roadmap, including the different phases, timelines, funding requirements and overall vision for the project. We expect the full plan to be available at the end of October 2026 and look forward to sharing it with you then.

</div>
<div>For decades, Tatayo has devoted his life to preserving and sharing the traditions, knowledge, spirituality and community of Bwiti/Bwete. Through Ebando (<a href="https://ebando.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://ebando.org/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://ebando.org/</a></a>) , the village and association he has nurtured in Libreville, he has created something much greater than a physical place: he has created a living legacy.

<div>At 77, Tatayo naturally looks toward the future and wonders what will happen to the work he has dedicated his life to. We want to help ensure that his legacy lives on.
</div>
<div>His spiritual son Mbilou is now taking an important step towards that future.
</div>
<div>Together, we are raising €80,000, alongside €20,000 already committed by members of our team, to create his new Bwiti/Bwete village in Libreville: a sister village to Ebando, inspired by everything Tatayo has built and accomplished, and created with his blessing.

<div>The initial investment will be €100,000.

<div>But this project is about much more than constructing buildings. Mbilou wants his village to become a living place where elders can transmit their knowledge, younger generations can learn, traditions can be practised, community can gather, and Bwiti can continue to live and grow.

<div><strong>WHY THIS MATTERS:</strong>
</div>
<div>Ibogaine is gaining international attention for its potential in addiction and trauma research. But behind this growing interest lies a much older tradition: Iboga is a sacred teacher at the heart of Bwiti/Bwete, a living spiritual and cultural tradition of Gabon.
</div>
<div>For people who practices the different branches of Bwiti/Bwete, Iboga is far more than a therapeutic compound. Its use is deeply connected to ceremony, music, ancestral knowledge, community and spiritual guidance.
</div>
<div>As global interest in Iboga grows, it is more important than ever to preserve the Indigenous traditions and knowledge that have safeguarded it for generations.
</div>
<div>Our village will provide a living space for this preservation: a place to gather, learn, practise and pass Bwiti/Bwete culture on to future generations.
</div>

<div><strong>OUR €80,000 GOAL:</strong>
</div>
<div>We have deliberately chosen a phased approach, allowing us to build the village responsibly and sustainably.
</div>
<div>Our €80,000 fundraising goal cover Phases 1. Phase 2, planned for 2028, will require additional funding, which we will raise separately as the project progresses.
</div>

<li><strong>Phase 1</strong> - protect and prepare the land (June 2027 - €80,000): our first major phase will begin in June 2027, once the rainy season has come to an end. The priority will be to secure the site by laying the foundations for the perimeter wall and completing the wall itself. These foundations need to be dug deep and properly reinforced, making them one of the most significant and costly elements of the work. Alongside this, we will level and prepare the land, creating a safe and secure site ready for the next stage of development. Completing this phase will protect the land and establish the foundations for the village. Once this work is completed over the summer, the following rainy season will play an important role in allowing the newly prepared and levelled ground to settle, compact and solidify naturally. We will then be ready to begin construction of the village itself in 2028, on land that has had the time it needs to become stable and properly prepared.

<li><strong>Phase 2 - build the village (additional funds required in 2028): </strong>with the land prepared, we will begin constructing the village itself, creating the traditional and communal spaces that will allow the project to become a living centre for Bwiti culture.

<div>We will document the progress of the project and share updates with everyone who supports us, so that you can see how your contribution is helping the village take shape. This phase will require additional funding beyond our initial €80,000 goal.

<div>Depuis des décennies, Tatayo consacre sa vie à préserver et à transmettre les traditions, les savoirs, la spiritualité et les valeurs communautaires du Bwiti/Bwete.

<div>À travers Ebando (ebando.org), le village et l’association qu’il a fait grandir à Libreville, il a créé bien plus qu’un lieu physique: il a créé un héritage vivant.
</div>
<div>Aujourd’hui âgé de 77 ans, Tatayo se tourne naturellement vers l’avenir et s’interroge sur ce que deviendra l’œuvre à laquelle il a consacré sa vie. Nous voulons contribuer à faire vivre et perdurer cet héritage.
</div>
<div>Son fils spirituel, Mbilou, franchit aujourd’hui une étape importante pour construire cet avenir.
</div>
<div>Ensemble, nous souhaitons collecter 80 000 €, auxquels s’ajoutent 20 000 € déjà engagés par des membres de notre équipe, afin de créer son nouveau village Bwiti à Libreville: un village frère d’Ebando, inspiré par tout ce que Tatayo a construit et accompli au fil des années, et créé avec sa bénédiction.

<div>Mais ce projet va bien au-delà de la construction de bâtiments. Mbilou souhaite que son village devienne un lieu vivant où les anciens pourront transmettre leurs savoirs, les jeunes générations pourront apprendre, les traditions pourront être pratiquées, la communauté pourra se rassembler, et le Bwiti/Bwete pourra continuer à vivre, à se transmettre et à grandir.

<div>C’est l’occasion de poursuivre l’œuvre de Tatayo, non pas en remplaçant Ebando, mais en permettant à la graine qu’il a semée de continuer à grandir.

<div><strong>POURQUOI CE PROJET EST IMPORTANT :</strong>
</div>
<div>L’ibogaïne suscite un intérêt croissant à l’échelle internationale pour son potentiel dans la recherche sur les addictions et les traumatismes. Mais derrière cet intérêt grandissant se trouve une tradition bien plus ancienne: l’Iboga est un enseigneur sacré au cœur du Bwiti/Bwete, une tradition spirituelle et culturelle vivante du Gabon.
</div>
<div>Pour les personnes qui pratiquent les différentes branches du Bwiti/Bwete, l’Iboga est bien plus qu’un composé thérapeutique. Son usage est profondément lié aux cérémonies, à la musique, aux savoirs ancestraux, à la communauté et à l’accompagnement spirituel.
</div>
<div>Alors que l’intérêt mondial pour l’Iboga ne cesse de croître, il est plus important que jamais de préserver les traditions et les savoirs autochtones qui l’ont protégé et transmis de génération en génération.
</div>
<div>Notre village offrira un espace vivant dédié à cette préservation: un lieu pour se rassembler, apprendre, pratiquer et transmettre la culture Bwiti aux générations futures.
</div>

<div><strong>NOTRE OBJECTIF : €80 000</strong>
</div>
<div>Nous avons délibérément choisi une approche par étapes, afin de construire le village de manière responsable et durable.
</div>
<div>Notre objectif de collecte de 80 000 € couvre la phase 1. La phase 2, prévue pour 2028, nécessitera des financements supplémentaires, que nous collecterons séparément au fur et à mesure de l’avancement du projet.
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Phase 1 – protéger et préparer le terrain (juin 2027 – 80 000 €) </strong>: notre première grande phase débutera en juin 2027, une fois la saison des pluies terminée. La priorité sera de sécuriser le site en réalisant les fondations du mur d’enceinte, puis en construisant le mur lui-même. Ces fondations devront être creusées en profondeur et correctement renforcées, ce qui en fait l’un des éléments les plus importants et les plus coûteux des travaux. En parallèle, nous procéderons au nivellement et à la préparation du terrain afin de créer un site sûr, sécurisé et prêt à accueillir la prochaine étape du projet. L’achèvement de cette phase permettra de protéger le terrain et de poser les bases nécessaires à la construction du village. Une fois ces travaux achevés au cours de l’été, la saison des pluies suivante jouera un rôle essentiel : elle permettra au sol nouvellement préparé et nivelé de se tasser, de se compacter et de se solidifier naturellement. Nous serons alors prêts à commencer la construction du village lui-même en 2028, sur un terrain qui aura eu le temps nécessaire pour se stabiliser et être correctement préparé.

<li><strong>Phase 2 - construire le village (2028): </strong>une fois le terrain préparé, nous pourrons commencer la construction du village lui-même, en créant les espaces traditionnels et communautaires qui permettront au projet de devenir un véritable lieu vivant dédié à la culture Bwiti.

<div>Tout au long du projet, nous documenterons son évolution et partagerons régulièrement des nouvelles avec toutes celles et ceux qui nous soutiennent, afin que vous puissiez voir concrètement comment votre contribution aide le village à prendre vie. Cette troisième phase nécessitera des financements supplémentaires, au-delà de notre objectif initial de 80 000 €.
