In the wake of challenges from a global pandemic and Hurricane Helene, families in Asheville are seeking better ways to balance work, childcare, and self-care. Evolve Early Learning has been a lifeline for families, creating a trusted community where children thrive. Now, we are ready to expand into a revolutionary space—the Evolve Coworking Collective.
Our vision? A family-first coworking space that includes flexible childcare, wellness resources, and a thriving ecosystem where families don’t have to choose between their personal and professional lives. Together, we can make this vision a reality.
Our Story
In 2019, we opened Evolve Early Learning, a 5-star early education center dedicated to creating happy, healthy, life-ready kids. Over the years, we’ve seen the needs of families grow beyond traditional childcare. Parents are yearning for spaces that meet the demands of modern life—balancing careers, caregiving, and community.
Hurricane Helene left a lasting impact on our community, displacing families and revealing the need for stronger support systems. That moment solidified our mission: to create a space where families work, play, and thrive together—a sanctuary for parents and children alike.
The Evolve Coworking Collective is our response to this call. It will be more than a building; it will be a vibrant hub of connection, care, and creativity for families across Asheville.
The Vision: Work, Play, Thrive
The Evolve Coworking Collective will feature:
- Work: Flexible coworking spaces, private offices, and meeting rooms tailored to parents, entrepreneurs, and remote workers.
- Play: Safe, developmentally appropriate play zones, an inclusive indoor playground, and flexible childcare options.
- Thrive: Wellness services for families, including therapy rooms, a meditation space, and parent-focused workshops.
This innovative model redefines work-life balance, offering parents the opportunity to pursue their ambitions while staying connected to their children.

Our Goal
We need $250,000 to bring this vision to life. This funding will go toward:
- Renovating a 4,000 sq. ft. warehouse adjacent to Evolve Early Learning.
- Creating safe, inclusive play and work zones.
- Adding critical infrastructure, such as ADA-compliant access and sensory-friendly spaces.
- Launching family-centered programs and services to enhance connection and well-being.
