 Help Bring a Christian RPG About Faith, Choice, and the Fruit of the Spirit to Life
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Hello, my name is Joshua, and I’m developing an independent Christian role-playing game inspired by Galatians 5 and the Fruit of the Spirit.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I started this project with a simple idea: What if a Christian game could share biblical truth while still feeling like a real adventure?
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Rather than creating a game that simply tells players what is right and wrong, I want players to experience meaningful choices and see the consequences of those choices throughout their journey.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The Story
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The game takes place in a world where the works of the flesh—hatred, envy, discord, selfishness, temptation, and other forms of darkness—are beginning to corrupt the land.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The player begins their journey in Haven of Grace, a community threatened by this growing darkness.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Throughout the adventure, players will travel to new locations, complete quests, battle enemies, help people in need, gather resources, craft equipment, and develop their character.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 At the heart of the game are the Fruit of the Spirit:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The adventure is planned around nine chapters, with each chapter exploring these themes while challenging the player with enemies and situations representing their opposites.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Players can also choose classes inspired by these virtues, including the Paladin of Love, Bard of Joy, Monk of Peace, and Cleric of Goodness.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 More Than Just a Game
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My goal is not to make a game that feels like a sermon with battles added to it.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I want to create an RPG that is genuinely enjoyable to play while naturally incorporating Christian themes, Scripture, sacrifice, forgiveness, compassion, and the struggle between the Spirit and the flesh.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Players will encounter people who need help, characters struggling with difficult choices, enemies representing destructive behaviors, and opportunities to demonstrate the Fruit of the Spirit through their actions.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My hope is that someone can finish the game having enjoyed the adventure while also walking away thinking about the choices they make in their own life.
</div>
<div>

</div>
<div>
 Why I Need Your Help
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I am developing this project independently, and creating a complete RPG requires much more than simply building maps and battles.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Funding will help improve areas such as:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Original artwork, character and enemy designs
</div>
<div>
 Music, sound effects, and audio
</div>
<div>
 Professional-quality maps and environments
</div>
<div>
 Programming and RPG Maker development resources
</div>
<div>
 Story, dialogue, and editing
</div>
<div>
 Gameplay testing and balancing
</div>
<div>
 Marketing and promotional materials
</div>
<div>
 Reward production and fulfillment
</div>
<div>
 Development costs needed to complete the full game
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My goal is to raise approximately $12,000 across crowdfunding and other funding efforts to help move the project from an independent passion project toward a polished, complete release.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every contribution—large or small—helps.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 And if you cannot contribute financially, sharing this campaign with friends, family, churches, Christian gaming communities, and RPG fans can be just as valuable.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The Vision
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I believe Christian games can be more than educational tools.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 They can have memorable characters.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 They can have exciting battles.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 They can have exploration, crafting, secrets, challenging bosses, meaningful choices, and stories players remember.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Most importantly, they can communicate biblical ideas without sacrificing the things that make games fun.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 This project is my attempt to build that kind of game.
</div>
<div>
