I would love to begin a business sewing, knitting, crocheting, and instructing. Due to my health, I was on permanent disability in Canada. I am not on disability here but am allowed to work. I cannot hold any job that depends on me because Crohn’s disease, fibromyalgia and migraines mean I am not dependable. I can’t change that. Now that COVID is out there I can’t risk being out in public, either. BUT if I had a workspace I could have a sewing business doing alterations and making things like masks and clothing to sell. I am also selling and designing knit or crocheted items. Our house is a wee one bedroom with no room for a table or sewing desk. I am currently using a small coffee table as office, cutting table and sewing machine station, but there is enough room in the back garden for a small workshop shed that could house my sewing equipment supplies and business year round. I am trying come up with ways to raise the necessary funds. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
