My close friend Shaafie Sankanu whom I met in Medina University from The Gambia has told me about the difficulty of getting water in a few locations of his home town.

We have managed to build a water well a couple months ago Alhamdulilah with your generous donations..  We plan to build a 2nd water wellin this holy month of Ramadhan. 

I have decided to start this GoFundMe so we can help build an Electric Water Well.

And be steadfast in prayer and regular in charity: And whatever good ye send forth for your souls before you, ye shall find it with Allah: for Allah sees Well all that ye do.

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: Continuing charity, knowledge that others benefited from, and a righteous son who supplicates for him."
