Help Build a mosque for our Mother, Amina Bibi

We are raising money to build a masjid (mosque) in a remote village in Pakistan where there is a communal need for a place of worship.

Muslim Hands, a UK based charity will be helping us execute this noble cause. The masjid is being built in memory of our Mother and Grandmother, Amina Bibi; a mother figure to everyone, who only shared the warmth of her love, the pearls of her wisdom and passion for prayer. Our beloved Grandmother was extensive in giving charity and helping the less fortunate and she stood steadfast when it came to her religion and salah. Worldly affairs never got in the way between her and her Lord. Therefore, there was no better way to keep her legacy alive but to build a place of worship where there is a genuine need.

The mosque is due to begin this month and we hope to take you along on this journey with us and will be sharing pictures of the progress insha’Allah. A deposit has been paid to begin the initial planning and foundation work. However, in order to complete this project we humbly request for you to help us raise the remaining funds of £25,000 to be able to meet this communal need and reap the rewards.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. (Bukhari)

A masjid is at the heart of any local Muslim community. It provides a place for its worshippers to pray and contemplate as well as being a hub for educational programmes and other everyday services. The role of the masjid is to help people learn more about Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development.

By helping us build this masjid you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with a house of Allah, but your Sadaqah Jariyah will continue giving benefit for generations to come insha’ Allah.
