Help build a Koala Sanctuary

In this time of reflecting upon the year that has passed and on the recent events that have affected this beautiful land of Australia, we’re calling out to your kind hearts to donate for the koalas that have lost their home and their families in the bushfires.

The koala is one of Australia’s worldwide-famous icon, and it’s also Cochlear’s mascot! Sadly though, it is an endangered species.

Some initiative called Koala Ark, is to create a sanctuary in the Barrington Tops where the koalas would be protected against feral invasion and bushfires. You can find more information here: https://www.aussieark.org.au/koala-ark/


This year for the Pimp your Pod contest, we have set up our pod decoration with the Koala theme, and any donor will receive a koala bear decoration, while stock lasts. If you would like to donate, come and us on level 2B, or place any donation in the box by our sign in the Services space. We’ll take donations until Thursday 19th December.

 
We are hoping you dig deep and donate $10 or more. I know it’s a lot, but we’ve all been feeling terrible about the little guys, so let’s help make a difference
