A local 12-year-old girl in protective custody, whose name has not been released, has endured something no child ever should. She was recently rescued after allegedly being kept in a dog kennel by her adoptive parents for the past two years. She is autistic and now faces a long, difficult road to recovery. Daniel does not know her personally, but they live in the same city, and he felt compelled to act. With a large online community behind him, Daniel wants to use his platform to help give this child something she deserves: hope, stability, and a real chance at a better future.
