They provide direct 'boots-on -the-ground' aid in Palestine and Lebanon, providing medical aid as emergency assistance where facilities have been destroyed, rebuilding infrastructure and training medical staff.

<div>As a side (but very important to us) note, they also have a very good 'proportion of funds raised' that goes directly to helping those in the region, with 80p of every £1 going to the direct work, 12p going to fundraising and the 8p left going towards the organisational costs of the charity. Also, nobody at the charity earns more than £90k a year, which is a damn sight better than some larger 'more reputable' charities. Every penny that comes through this fundraiser will go directly to the charity.
