Help Brown (from the streets to Ministry)
Donation protected
Joan's story:
I’m presently living in Uganda and operating an NGO called Ddembe Home Uganda helping youth from the streets change their lives. One young man called Brown who's full name was Muhammad Mukasa, converted to Christianity and changed his name to Brown Mukasa.
I met Brown when he was 17 years old and he had been on the streets for 7 years. At Ddembe Home we put him through primary school, even with little previous education he managed to finish with 1st Grade. He has just successfully finished a one year addictions program with Teen Challenge and feels called to minister and would like to attend the 'Charis Bible College' in Kampala, Uganda.
I'm highly impressed with Brown's progression as he is a totally changed young man who now wants to give back to his community. I fully believe that he deserves this opportunity.
He has been patiently waiting and volunteering here at Ddembe Home.
In Brown's words, "I got a chance to know who I am in Christ and want to go to Bible College to give hope to those who think they are hopeless".
Unfortunately at this time there is no funding or sponsorship available, this is the reason why I am creating a 'go fund me' page to provide financial aid for him.
If you feel that you can help, any donation is gratefully accepted.
