Help Brooklyn beat Leukemia

Update March 19 @4:42pm
the diagnosis of Leukemia has been made. We knew it was a possibility but the physician said he “spoke too soon” on the aplastic anemia. This fight will now be much longer, and harder for Brooklyn and her family.
Brooklyn is a 10 year old, sports playing, adventure loving, kind hearted, sassy little girl and she has a tough road ahead of her. She was taken to the dr office on March 14, 2024 for weakness, unable to walk and a few other symptoms. They were told to leave the office and go straight to a children’s hospital in Pensacola. There she’s received blood and platelet transfusions, and had a bone marrow test to determine what is making her ill. Yesterday, March 18, 2024 she was officially diagnosed with aplastic anemia. Due to this diagnosis she will be in the hospital for the foreseeable future, unable to attend school, play sports or be around many people. Her mom, Marie, is one of two major income contributors in the home and has remained at the bedside since day one. My brother, whom also has a job, has been forced to scale back some on his hours to care for their collective 4 other children in the home while Brooklyn and Marie remain in Pensacola.
Brooklyn is currently being treated for a severe infection due to the low white blood cells in her body. She is on continuous antibiotics, pain medications for severe pain and will eventually require a bone marrow transplant which can only come from her mom, or two of her younger siblings.
This family has a long long road ahead of them. This gofundme is to help them keep food on the table, gas money, and to help supplement what Marie would normally be bringing home to care for the family.
Anything is helpful, and I will try to continue to post updates as we have them.
