<div>A few weeks ago, my father’s home was completely destroyed in a devastating fire.

<div>The loss is unimaginable. Everything he owned — his home, his belongings, his memories — was gone in an instant. He lived alone. To see it all disappear overnight is something I can’t even begin to wrap my mind around.

<div>This moment has been humbling, heartbreaking, and surreal for our family. We are still processing everything while trying to figure out the next steps. Once I am able to connect with him directly and assess his immediate needs, we’ll begin the long process of helping him rebuild his life from the ground up.

<div>I’ve started this GoFundMe to support my disabled dad as he recovers from this tragedy — to help cover basic necessities like clothing, food, temporary housing, and eventually, to start over.
