<div>Hi, I’m Brooke—an adventurer, storyteller, and, as of a few months ago, a cancer survivor.
</div>

<div>In Nov 2024, I was diagnosed with Bethesda Level VI papillary thyroid cancer and underwent major surgery. It was a battle I never expected, but instead of letting it define me, I’ve chosen to fight back in the best way I know how—by embracing life fully and fearlessly.

<div>That’s why I’m competing in the Noman Campaign, an endurance rowing challenge focused on raising awareness for HPV related cancers, in which a team of 4 women and I will be manually rowing across the Mediterranean sea with nothing but our own will power, no motors necessary.

<div>To compete, I’ve pledged to raise £10,000 (or $13,000 USD) for the HPV &amp; Anal Cancer Foundation, alongside a personal commitment to raise $5,000 for ThyCa—an organization supporting thyroid cancer patients like me.

<div>This isn’t just about fundraising. It’s about proving that even in the face of adversity, life doesn’t stop. I’ll be sharing my journey—past and present adventures—as a testament to resilience, joy, and pushing limits despite the obstacles.
