Help Broccoli Sprout Beat FIP!

Donation protected

Hello, we are proud parents of Broccoli Sprout or better known as Mr. Man in our household. Broccoli Sprout was recently diagnosed with FIP, which stands for Feline Infectious Peritonitis or better known as feline coronavirus. More specifically he has wet FIP which means fluid fills up in his chest cavity and he has a chronic fever making it extremely difficult for him to breathe and is almost 100% fatal without treatment. We have been doing research, refusing to settle for euthanasia, and losing our sweet man. We have found a cure that has worked for around 80% of cats and usually shows immediate results. The treatment is an 84-day course of injections. We would have to buy the medicine, needles, and syringes which all quickly add up to around $2500 for the entire 84-day treatment. Broccoli Sprout was adopted and came from a bad living situation and will be 2 years old this month. When we first got him he was scared, nervous, and tended to himself but now is a loving, playful cuddle bug who loves to play fetch with his crinkle ball more than anything. Now he is sedentary, rarely ever plays, and watches from afar even when coaxed with his beloved crinkle ball. More than anything we want our cat to have a fighting chance, to live the long, healthy, happy life that he deserves. If you can't donate we ask you to please share where you can and thank you in advance for all the support. Anything helps!
