<div>We are reaching out to ask for your support for an incredible woman who needs our help. <strong>Britnee, a hardworking and loving soul from a small family down the bayou, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.</strong> While the prognosis is good, her journey will involve a lumpectomy, a course of radiation, and chemotherapy. The planning appointments for her treatment journey begin this week, August 26, 2024.

<div>Britnee has spent her life caring for others. As a program manager in the healthcare system, she has seen multiple facets of the patient experience. Now, as she faces this personal battle, she’s acutely aware of how expensive her treatment will be.

<div>On top of a deductible reset in January, Britnee will need support with transportation, living expenses, and the copays associated with Ochsner’s integrative care plan for breast cancer.

<div>Britnee expects to use any funds for:

<div>Out of pocket maximum insurance for 2025: $4,000.00

<div>6 months cost of living @ $2,000 / month: $12,000.00 (rent, groceries, utilities, cost of care for her best friend, Anouk, pictured with her above)

<div>Miscellaneous expenses associated with wigs, clothing, surgery recovery, chemo comfort needs, food delivery, rideshare when needed, prescription medications.
