<div>Hello, I am creating this GFM for a family close to me—they are in <strong>desperate</strong> need for help from Hurricane Milton in the Tampa Bay area. <strong>They have absolutely nothing!</strong>

<div>"They were not in a mandatory evacuation zone, so they stayed in their apartment to hunker down during the storm. About 1:30 a.m., they realized they were in ankle-deep water. By 2:30 a.m., it was chest-deep, with water quickly coming into their apartment. They quickly cut the power and went outside, swimming with their cat on one of their shoulders and Kash the dog, to the stairs that led to the second-floor apartments. Their upstairs neighbor ushered them in as there were still high winds. They called 911, and they said they would send out a boat rescue. Emergency services came around 9:30 a.m., and they evacuated via dinghy boat to a bus that took them to the nearest shelter. <strong>Bri’s family has been so overwhelmed by this disaster, losing their entire home, belongings, and their car, which was completely submerged underwater.</strong> Please help by donating any amount to her family that so needs it."
