Help Bring the Madison 6 Back Better Than Ever!

Hey there, my name is Derek Hoskins. Myself, along with my partners Bobby Tingle and Ian Torrance are working towards bringing the Madison 6 Theater back to life and better than ever. However, we are going to need some help from the community to accomplish our goals. Bob, Ian, and myself have all been associated with the Madison 6 for more than twenty years, off and on, in some way or another. We have been employees, managers, maintenance, and trainers for the past three owners of the business. We love this theater and it holds a very special place in our hearts. We can all admit that in the past, the theater going experience has been less than ideal to downright unacceptable. It is our goal to restore the theater as a beacon of local pride, a family friendly experience that will keep our customers happy and excited to enjoy a night at the movies in Madison.

The funds that we are asking for will be used in our goal of restoring the Madison 6 Theater. This will include cleaning, repairing and replacing equipment, and updating different parts of the theater. First of all, we need to replace the front door locking system to better ensure the safety of our customers and employees. Second, we are looking to fix and upgrade the HVAC systems in our auditoriums and lobby to ensure a comfortable experience. On top of enhanced safety and proper comfort levels, there are issues that need to be fixed with our projectors and sound systems. We also have plans to replace seats in certain auditoriums to make it a more comfortable viewing experience. We have fresh ideas and big plans for this wonderful theater. However, this will be a marathon and not a sprint. We ask for your support to help us to speed up the process of restoring, not just the look of, but also the reputation of this staple of our community.
