<div>Throughout my travels to the Caribbean over the years, tasting the fresh spices &amp; bold flavors, and spending summers in the South soaking up southern cooking, this inspired me to blend the traditional soul food that I grew up on with the island flavors I fell in love with.

<div>If you know me, cooking has always been more than a hobby. I've had a deep love for cooking since I was a young girl—it's my love language, creative outlet, and the best way for me to connect family and culture. Some of my favorite memories were watching my mom, dad, and grandma work their magic in the kitchen—and yes, taste testing was my favorite part! While learning family recipes that were passed down from my ancestors, I quickly discovered the joy of bringing people together through food.
