<div>
 A dream family holiday has turned into a parent’s worst nightmare.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Brad and Mel set off on what was meant to be the holiday of a lifetime with their three children. For their 18-year-old son Ryan, who has autism and is absolutely obsessed with Mickey Mouse, visiting Disney in Japan was a dream come true.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 This was more than just a family holiday. It was an opportunity to create precious memories together and for Ryan to experience the magic of Disney and the excitement of seeing his beloved Mickey Mouse.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 But what started as a magical family adventure has turned into a heartbreaking and frightening situation.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Although Ryan has flown before without any issues, he has unexpectedly developed an acute and overwhelming fear of flying. His distress is now so severe that he is unable to board a commercial aircraft to return home to Australia.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 The family has been advised that Ryan will need to be sedated and transported home on a specialist medical flight.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 The quoted cost? An unimaginable $300,000.
</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 This is a figure that no ordinary family could ever prepare for.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Brad and Mel have already made the heartbreaking decision to send their other two children home to Australia with their grandmother, while they remain in Japan, desperately trying to find a safe way to bring Ryan home.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Imagine being stranded in another country, separated from your other children, watching your son struggle and knowing that getting him safely home could cost more than half a million dollars.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 All Brad and Mel want is to bring their boy home.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Every additional day in Japan brings mounting accommodation, food and living expenses. Their funds are limited, and the enormous upfront cost of medical transport is simply beyond their reach.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 This is where we are asking for your help.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 We are reaching out to friends, family, the autism community and anyone who can find it in their heart to support this family.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 No family should have to face a situation like this alone.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Brad and Mel aren’t asking for anything extraordinary. They simply want their son home, safe and surrounded by the people who love him.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Ryan travelled to Japan to experience the magic of Disney and meet his beloved Mickey Mouse. Now, his family needs a little magic of their own. ❤️
