It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Roxane Tanedo, beloved daughter of Master Sergeant Rolando D. Tanedo (Philippine Army, Retired).
Roxane came to Ontario, Canada just 10 months ago, full of hope and determination. She was pursuing her dreams through education, preparing to take her licensure exam in Canada, and had plans to eventually work in the United States.
Tragically, her journey was cut short when she was diagnosed with APML Leukemia. She suffered a sudden stroke, followed by multiple organ failure, internal bleeding, and a swollen brain. Despite the tireless efforts of medical professionals, Roxane passed away far from her family and homeland, leaving her loved ones in unimaginable grief.
Her father, Msgt. Tanedo, is now facing the painful and costly process of repatriating Roxane’s remains to the Philippines, so she can be laid to rest with the dignity and love she deserves.
We are reaching out to friends, kind-hearted individuals, and members of the community to ask for your support. The financial burden of repatriation and funeral expenses is overwhelming, and the family cannot bear it alone.
Your donation—no matter how small—will make a meaningful difference. It will help ease the burden on her grieving father and bring Roxane home to her final resting place.
Please consider contributing and sharing this campaign. Most importantly, keep Roxane and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
