<div>On October 6th, 2025, around 9:00 AM at the neighborhood of Lawndale in Chicago, IL, Jose Luis Tellez Fernandez, a beloved member of our family, was detained by ICE. He was working for a local landscaping company when he was taken. We are now fighting to bring him back home, where his three children are waiting for him.

<div>José Luis is a kind, hardworking, and dedicated person—especially to his three children, aged 15, 12, and 6. Together, they were building a beautiful life here, surrounded by friends and family.


</div>

<div>Since the COVID pandemic in 2020, he has faced a series of very difficult challenges. He lost his home but still did everything possible to care for his three children. More recently, his belongings were destroyed twice in one month this year due to flooding in his new apartment. Despite all of this, he remained strong and continued to work hard. As long as his children were with him, he kept moving forward with hope. Now, he has been separated from them, and we are doing everything we can to bring their father back.

<div>Unfortunately, the immigration system is incredibly complex and expensive. We are trying to hire a trustworthy immigration attorney who is willing to help us fight his case, but the legal fees go beyond what our family can afford. It’s estimated that the initial and ongoing legal costs will reach or even exceed $10,000, and we need to raise this amount as soon as possible.

<div>Hola a todos, Nos acercamos a ustedes con el corazón en la mano para pedir su apoyo en uno de los momentos más difíciles que ha enfrentado nuestra familia.

<div>Este dia 6 de octubre de 2025, alrededor de las 9:00 AM, en el barrio de Lawndale en Chicago il. José Luis Tellez Fernandez, un querido miembro de nuestra familia, fue detenido por ICE. el estaba trabajando con una compañia Landscaping de nuestra ciudad cuando se lo llevaron. Ahora estamos luchando para traerlo de regreso a casa a donde sus 3 hijos lo esperan.

<div>José Luis es una persona amable,trabajadora y dedicada al trabajo y sobre todo dedidacado a sus 3 hijos de edades 15 ,12 y 6 quien juntos estaban construyendo una hermosa vida aquí rodeado de amigos, familia. 


</div>


<div>Desde la pandemia de COVID en 2020, el ha enfrentado una serie de situaciones muy difíciles. Perdió su casa, y aun así hizo todo lo posible por cuidar a sus tres hijos. Más recientemente, sus pertenencias fueron destruidas dos veces en un mes este Año debido a inundaciones en su nuevo departamento.

<div>A pesar de todo esto, siempre se mantuvo fuerte y trabajador. Mientras sus tres hijos estuvieran con él, él seguía adelante con esperanza. Ahora ha sido separado de ellos, y estamos haciendo todo lo posible por devolverles a su padre. 


</div>


<div>Lamentablemente, el sistema migratorio es muy complejo y costoso. Estamos tratando de juntar para un abogado de inmigración de confianza dispuesto a ayudarnos a pelear el caso, pero los honorarios legales superan lo que nuestra familia puede cubrir. Se estima que los costos legales iniciales y continuos alcanzarán o incluso superarán los $10,000 dólares, y necesitamos reunirlos lo antes posible.
