Help Bring our Friend, Son, Brother, Uncle Home Safely

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jerry, and I am raising funds to help locate my dear friend who has been missing since November 13th, 2025.

My friend is 39 years old and was last known to be in the Horsham, PA area. His family has not had contact with him since November 8th, 2025, which is deeply out of character and extremely concerning.

Why We Are Worried

He has been struggling with mental health challenges, and we believe this is affecting his ability to stay safe and maintain contact. This page is not about blame or judgment — it is about care, safety, and bringing someone home. We believe that he is in a vulnerable state and that he left without adequate clothing for the weather, and are deeply concerned for his safety and wellbeing.

Mental health–related missing person cases are especially complex. Adults are often classified as “missing by choice,” which can limit how much active investigation is possible through traditional channels, even when families know something is wrong. According to law enforcement involved in his case, because this is not a criminal case, there is no active investigation occurring unless the police receive a specific tip. We were told in writing by law enforcement that if we wanted the case to be actively investigated, we need to hire a Private Investigator.

For the continued safety of our friend we ask his name remain private (**see below for additional details on this important issue)

What We’ve Already Done

Since he went missing, we have:
• Filed a missing person report with local law enforcement, and his case has been assigned to a detective
• Contacted hospitals, shelters, hotels, and outreach organizations
• Distributed information and followed up on leads
• Spent countless hours searching and advocating on our own
Despite these efforts, we have reached the point where professional investigative help is necessary.

Why We Need a Private Investigator

A licensed private investigator specializing in missing persons can:
• Work across jurisdictions
• Dedicate sustained, focused time to this case
• Access databases and records unavailable to families
• Follow leads that fall outside standard police capacity
• Coordinate discreetly and respectfully in mental health–sensitive situations
We have spoken with investigators who have experience in cases like this, and the cost is substantial – hence the creation of this fundraising effort – but has become necessary given the lack of progress on other fronts.

How the Funds Will Be Used

All funds raised will go directly toward hiring a qualified private investigator, and include:
• A private investigator retainer (approximately $2,000-$3,000)
• Hourly investigative work (approximately $100-200 per hour)
• Database access, records searches, and related expenses
If any funds remain after investigative efforts conclude, they will be used to support continued search efforts or donated to a missing persons advocacy organization.

Our Commitment to Transparency

We understand how much trust it takes to donate. We commit to:
• Posting regular updates (when safe and appropriate)
• Using funds solely for search-related purposes
• Being honest, even when there is no new information to share

We are graciously asking for your help to bring our loved one home - How You Can Help:
• Please donate, if you are able
• Please share this page to increase visibility but please keep his name private.

Even small acts of support make a difference. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for caring, sharing, and supporting his family and friends during this painful time.

With gratitude,
Jerry Farrell

**Why we’re not sharing the person’s name publicly (for now):
We know people want to help, and we’re grateful for that. Right now, we’re being careful about what details we share because privacy can actually keep someone safer, especially in cases involving mental illness.
Publicly sharing a name can:
• Attract scammers or people with bad intentions
• Put the person at risk if they’re vulnerable or dealing with mental health issues
• Make them harder to find if they feel exposed or frightened
• Create a permanent online record that can affect them long after they’re found

We are still actively searching and sharing information with the right people (law enforcement, hospitals, shelters, outreach teams). If more public details become necessary, we will share them.
Thank you for understanding that this approach is about protecting his safety, dignity, and chances of coming home safely.
