We are heartbroken to share the sudden loss of our beloved cousin, a compassionate and resilient woman who dedicated her life to teaching and caring for others. For over 30 years, she was a guiding light for her students, always striving for equality, peace, and a better future for children. She left her homeland of Ecuador during the pandemic to support her mother and family, never hesitating to start over for their security. Her love for teaching was matched only by her passion for cooking, baking, and caring for animals. She brought joy to everyone around her, whether she was bird watching, dog sitting, or simply sharing a meal. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support touched countless lives, and her absence leaves a deep void in our hearts, her friends, and her community.

Her passing has been a devastating shock, especially for her mother and sister in Guayaquil, Ecuador, who have not seen her in five years. As the sole provider for her family, she always put their needs first. We want to honor her final wishes by bringing her home to Ecuador, so her loved ones can say their last goodbyes. The funds raised will help cover funeral expenses here in the US, the cost of transporting her remains, necessary documentation, and any remaining costs for her funeral in Ecuador. Your support will help us give her the farewell she deserves and bring comfort to her grieving family. Thank you for helping us honor her memory and legacy.
