<div>I had just moved to a foreign country for high school, didn’t speak the language, and was trying out for the cross-country team. Somehow, I managed to take the wrong turn in the forest on a 3K run and get utterly lost. For hours.

<div><strong>The experience trying to hitchhike back inspired the script for this film.</strong>

<div>"Nowhere Near Home" tells the story of<strong> two feuding brothers</strong> who, after school, are<strong> left stranded</strong>, so they decide to <strong>hitchhike home</strong>. But their journey takes <strong>an unexpected turn</strong> when the <strong>driver collapses</strong> at the steering wheel. What starts out as a simple journey home soon spirals into a chaotic and darkly comedic scramble. Through this ordeal, the brothers are forced to confront their fears, take responsibility, and come to terms with each other.
