Help Bring My Mom Back Home

Donation protected
Our mom, Irma Rodriguez was recently taken by ICE while at work. CPD was with ICE when she was detained but based on Chicago's sanctuary law, it is unlawful to take/arrest someone that does not have proper documentation. We've been told that she will probably get deported back to Mexico in a week or less.

She came to Chicago when she was 24 and has always been a hard working woman. She had always provided for us, as well as her parents who are in Mexico. She is a mother of 3. Her oldest daughter is 22, a son of 16 and myself, which I am 18. Alderman Danny Solis, Emma Lorenzo and the Resurrection Project, etc. have been working with a lawyer to defend my moms rights. She has no past criminal records, no problems with anyone and has always been a hardworking woman.

My younger brother and I are starting school soon, and unfortunately will not see us graduate. She's a caring and friendly person, as the majority of the Pilsen Community knows this.

We would really appreciate all help we can get to help keep our family together. These donations will go towards the payment of our lawyer and any other fees that will allow my mom to come be reunited with us. The way this event happened was unfair and no family should ever go through this tragic pain.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us and helping us stay strong.
