<div>On December 6, my world changed when my mother called to say my dad was being rushed to the hospital because he couldn’t feel his right side. In the ER, a CAT scan revealed a mass on his brain, and he was transferred to Columbus, Ohio, for further care. There, we learned the devastating news: <strong>my dad has glioblastoma, a very aggressive brain cancer with almost no chance of survival.</strong> He is now 120 miles from home, three hours away, and my mother has been traveling back and forth, which has been incredibly expensive for her and for us as a family.

<div>As if that wasn’t enough, on the same day we found out my dad’s tumors were inoperable, my mother received another call—our family home had to be condemned. A hidden water leak had caused the bathroom and utility room floors to collapse. My parents are not dirty or neglectful people; they simply didn’t know about the leak. They paid a company to fix it, but now the company says it can’t be repaired. <strong>My parents have lost their home, and my dad is fighting for his life, far from the place he loves most.</strong>

<div>The medical bills from two hospitals are already overwhelming, and the cost to repair their home is more than we can manage. <strong>My dad wants nothing more than to spend his last days at home, surrounded by family, memories, and comfort.</strong> My brother has offered a small room, but it’s not private, and my parents don’t want to be a burden. I want to give my dad everything he could possibly want in this difficult time—to be happy, comfortable, and at peace in his own home. Any support means the world to us. Thank you for caring and for helping us bring my dad home. We have faith that the will of God will be done. We love the Lord and trust in His decisions, but I appreciate each and every one of you. Even if you just took the time to read my dad’s story and said a prayer, that would mean more than anything else you could do.
