My dad has lived in Des Plaines, Illinois for over 30 years. He’s worked hard every single day to support our family and help others. We were just doing landscaping work in downtown Des Plaines when ICE came out of nowhere. They detained my dad and another worker I was held too but eventually let go.

If you know my dad, you know he’s a good person with a big heart. He’s always helped the community in every way he can never causing trouble, just working hard and taking care of his family. What happened was so unfair and rough they violated every right we have. All we were doing was working, trying to make an honest living.

I’m trying to raise money to help get my dad a lawyer and bring him home. He’s always been there for me and others, and now I need to be there for him. Anything helps even a few dollars or sharing this post.
