<div>It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share that my dear cousin has suffered a tragic accident that left him brain-dead at just 21 years old.

<div>He came to the United States with the dream of building a better life—not for himself alone, but to support his family back home in Mexico. He worked tirelessly in construction to help care for his father, who is battling chronic kidney failure, and to provide for his mother.

</div>

<div>My cousin was a kind soul and a bright light in this world. He was full of dreams and aspirations. One of his biggest passions was music—he longed to create and share his art, but never had the chance to pursue it fully. Now, all we have are the USB drives he left behind, holding pieces of his heart and talent.

<div>Tragically, this loss comes just four months after the death of his older brother in a motorcycle accident in Mexico. My aunt is inconsolable. No parent should ever have to bury their children, let alone both sons within months of each other.

</div>

<div>We are reaching out in this time of unimaginable grief to ask for your help. Our goal is to bring my cousin’s body home to Mexico so he can be laid to rest beside his brother and so his mother can say her final goodbye.

Hoy, todo lo que nos queda son las memorias y los USB que guardan pedazos de su corazón y su talento.</strong>
