<div>On August 6th, 2025, our beloved John passed away in a tragic accident while driving his truck through Mississippi, along with his precious dog Jasmine. He was only 25 years old.

<div>The Mississippi State Police believe he may have fallen asleep at the wheel—but we just can’t accept that. John had stopped for over 19 hours before getting back on the road that morning. He had just started his day and had a full nights of rest. There were no skid marks. The trees were so close to the road that he wouldn’t have had time to react. We believe something else went wrong.

<div>John was a professional truck driver since 2022. He was sharp, careful, and by-the-book. He was not reckless. He was smart. He was steady. Even when driving his own truck at home. And he was so deeply deeply loved.

<div>Our family is now faced with unimaginable grief—and the financial burden of bringing him home from Mississippi to say our final goodbyes. We’re also trying to fund a private autopsy, because we deserve answers. We need to know if his big, beautiful heart gave out. We need to know why he was taken from us so suddenly.

<div>John didn’t get to celebrate his 26th birthday, which is just weeks away. He didn’t get to find the love of his life or start a family. But he left behind a family who adored him and will never be the same.
