Today, 12/16/2025, my niece’s father, Joel, was taken by ICE in Chicago on Hermitage st while simply doing his job. He was getting tools out of his work van when this happened. There was no warrant, and he has no criminal record. Joel is a hardworking man who owns his own roofing company and has always provided for his family.

<div>What breaks our hearts the most is that he is the father of a 3-year-old little girl who needs her dad. Our family is devastated. We are doing everything we can to fight for him and keep their family together.
