Jose de Jesus Gomez, known to many as Polo, has been a pillar of our community for over 20 years. Through his lawn care work, he’s built lasting relationships and is always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. For the past 6 to 7 years, he’s also volunteered with the Knights of Columbus, helping organize and support local events. His generosity is well known—whether it’s giving someone the shirt off his back, offering his last dollar, or helping neighbors with car trouble, Polo’s kindness touches everyone he meets.

Recently, our family has faced a crisis. Jesus is being held by immigration due to documentation issues. This has deeply affected us, especially my mother, who is now struggling with financial expenses and the absence of the person who holds our family together. The community feels his absence too, as so many have come to rely on his support and friendship.

We’re raising funds urgently to cover both legal fees for a good immigration lawyer and living expenses while we work to bring Jesus home.
