<div>This fundraiser is being organized for Irma Mendez, a loving mother, wife, and friend to many. On Thursday, September 4th, Irma was unexpectedly detained by immigration officials. This family is heartbroken and terrified. She has lived many years in the community. She is not a criminal. She is the loving mother and main provider for her family.

<div>Before detention, she and her family would attend church every Sundays, devoted to their strong faith. She works very hard to provide for her five children. She is kind, compassionate, and more importantly, she is a hardworking person who always puts her family first.

<div>With Irma now detained indefinitely, the family has lost its primary source of income. The family is overwhelmed and distraught. They struggle to cover the financial impact of this case.

<div>Your generous donations will directly support Irma’s family, covering essential expenses and legal costs. While she is detained, your contributions will also help provide for her basic needs through commissary. Every donation, no matter how small, is a step towards reuniting Irma with her loved ones.
