<div>Hi, I’m <strong>Kristen Kelderman</strong>, a 2026 Nuffield Canada Scholar and mental health professional who grew up on my family’s dairy farm in Ontario. I know firsthand the dedication, uncertainty, and heart that farming demands — and how deeply those pressures can affect the people behind our food.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through my Nuffield research, I’ll travel across the world — to places like England, France, Australia, Zimbabwe, and beyond — to study <strong>how farmers experience loss, change, and renewal, and what helps them continue through adversity.</strong> The goal is to bring those global insights home to strengthen mental health supports for farmers across Canada.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m raising <strong>$3,000</strong> to help cover travel and research costs during this life-changing journey. Every dollar supports connecting with farm communities, gathering stories, and sharing knowledge that can shape the future of mental health in agriculture.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support helps me take this research further — and bring it back to where it’s needed most: our Canadian farms and families.
