 <strong>Help Coach A, Amaury Monsalve, Come Home to His Family</strong>
</div>

<div>
 My name is Robert Carmona-Borjas, Co-Founder and CEO of Arcadia Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Washington, DC.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We are organising this fundraiser to support <strong>Amaury Monsalve</strong>, affectionately known throughout the Washington, DC baseball community as <strong>Coach A</strong>, and his family during an extremely difficult time.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 For more than 25 years, Amaury has dedicated himself to coaching baseball and mentoring young people. He has worked with children and families at <strong>Deal Middle School</strong>, <strong>Jackson-Reed High School</strong> and <strong>Woodson High School</strong>, helping young players develop not only their sporting abilities but also confidence, discipline and a sense of responsibility.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 He has also worked to make baseball accessible to children whose families might otherwise struggle to afford the opportunity to play.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Amaury has generously devoted his time to Arcadia Foundation as an unpaid volunteer, supporting our humanitarian and community work.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>On 19 October 2026</strong>, Amaury was taken into custody by <strong>U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) </strong>after his citizenship case was denied. His attorneys have filed an appeal of the immigration judge's decision and are pursuing his release on bond. He is currently being held at an immigration detention centre in Louisiana, far from his wife, Aniushka, and their two sons, Sebasthian and Emmanuel (Manny).
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 His detention has placed an enormous emotional and financial burden on his family. Along with the loss of an essential source of household income, they are now facing substantial legal expenses, the possibility of a significant immigration bond and the continuing costs of maintaining their home.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Arcadia Foundation is helping to organise and administer this campaign so that the funds raised can be used to pay directly for Amaury's legal representation, any bond required for his release and the family's essential expenses.</strong> We are committed to maintaining proper records and ensuring that contributions are used for their stated purpose.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 The families of the Washington, DC baseball community have already begun coming together in support of Coach A, whose years of dedication have touched the lives of so many young people.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Now, at a moment when he and his family need help, we hope that same community, together with friends and others who believe in compassion and fairness, will stand beside them.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Every contribution, whatever its amount, will make a difference. Sharing this campaign is another valuable way to help.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Please help us bring Coach A home to his family.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for your generosity, your trust and your support.
