<div>So after literally hundreds of messages on social media offering support I've set up a support page, in a nutshell to help bring 'Carib' back to the UK for her new life! Many of you have seen the story on the Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary Instagram / Facebook page but for those who haven't read the below...!

<div>On holiday last week in Barbados we stumbled accross a particularly run down house near Bridgetown. Doing a bit of 'Urban exploring' I found a small dog at the top of the stairs, tied to a rusted bed frame by a short rope laid in it's own mess with no food or water. I knocked the boarded door but nobody came out so offered the dog water. She couldn't get enough and was clearly extremley thirsty. After a few more bangs someone came out saying they had no water bowl or food for the dog, clearly poor but my sympathy was limited as the house was littered with booze bottles and drug parafanelia. For the next 2 days I went back and the situation hadn't changed then after a less than friendly conversation with someone living in the house they told me they didn't want the dog. I went back early the next morning after reaching out to Ocean Acres dog sanctuary, rescued the dog from her short rope and took her to the hotel. Karen kindly picked her up after playing and washing her at the hotel. Because of the culture in Barbados Karen has advised Carib's life will be much better in the UK as they have over 160 dogs there waiting for adoption! So decision made, Carib is coming to the UK to start her new life. I've personally donated to Ocean Acres upon collection but I want to raise funds to cover some associated costs of flying her over to London, vet bills, setup costs and raise money for Karen and the amazing work she's doing in Barbados, and has for the last 22 years!
