Hello, friends and community members. My name is Sean, and I represent the Zulu GMRS Radio Club, a local group dedicated to emergency communication, community connection, and public safety. Today, we are asking for your support to help us solve a serious communication challenge affecting North St. Louis City and North St. Louis County.

Right now, our area has a major GMRS radio blind spot. This means that during storms, outages, emergencies, or disasters, many families and neighbors in our community cannot reliably reach one another. In moments when seconds matter, communication should never be a weakness. To fix this issue, our club is working to purchase and install a GMRS repeater that will provide strong, dependable radio coverage across North St. Louis. This repeater will eliminate the communication dead zone currently affecting our neighborhoods, strengthen emergency readiness in case of tornadoes, power outages, or civil emergencies, and improve community connection among families, volunteers, and local groups. It will also provide a free, reliable, and accessible communication option when cell networks fail.

We believe in being prepared—not just for ourselves, but for the safety and well-being of everyone around us. Installing this repeater is an investment in community protection, resilience, and unity. We are asking for your help to raise the funds needed to purchase the repeater equipment, secure a proper installation site, and complete the setup safely and professionally. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to keeping our community connected and protected. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Spreading the word is just as powerful. Thank you for supporting this mission and helping us strengthen communication—and safety—for North St. Louis.

 With gratitude,

 Zulu GMRS Radio Club
