Hi, this is Jon. Last Friday someone called me from the fraud department at my credit union (which he named). Only he was a scammer, and eventually picked enough info out of me to access everything I had. I never gave him my online banking password but he got in somehow and transferred all my savings (a thousand dollars) into my debit account which had my paycheck fresh that day in it. Most of the money was spent at an Apple Store in Houston, $2600. I had been so proud of how thrifty I had been to get money for a dental crown and start paying the hospital for the retina surgery I had last month. Now it's all gone and I owe my regular bills (car payment, credit card, utilities) plus a $5800 hospital bill and $322 for the anesthesiologist (even though my insurance has a $5000 deductible). So anything you can spare is welcome. Thank you.
