<div>Recently, legislation was introduced that would make being transgender in public in Texas a felony. Further, the state Attorney General has declared that all licenses and court orders that changed one's gender and name were null and void. This is just one action by the AG, in addition to one bill. There were 200+ other anti-queer bills introduced into the Texas legislature this session.

<div>Add to that the near constant harassment at work (I am a public school teacher) and at home, and it has become increasingly clear that it is no longer safe for us. <strong>We must get out, and quickly.</strong>

<div>We have several things we need to fund that we just don't have the means to do so. Our goals in order of priority:

<div>1. Movers to load up truck

<div>2. Truck
</div>
<div>3. Movers to unload truck at our destination
</div>
<div>4. Deposits and such to get new home up and running
</div>
<div>5. Vet visit for our dog to get her anti-anxiety meds for the trip

<div>We have a destination, though that will not be disclosed at this time due to security concerns. But we are hoping to leave within the next 3-6 weeks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
