Help Brian Healy with this Life-Changing Paralysis

Donation protected
On April 7th, our brother Brian Healy was in a horrific rollover car accident that has changed his life forever.  He broke his neck at the C6 vertebrae and his spinal cord was 3/4 severed, leaving him paralyzed as a Quadriplegic/Tetraplegic.

He is currently in ICU on a ventilator, awaiting transfer to an amazing Spinal Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia , where he will begin the incredible journey of discovering a new normal.  We are grateful and blessed that he is still here with us and are asking for your generosity and help in raising money to cover the enormous expenses that he will incur in the coming months to help him navigate his life in a wheelchair.

Brian is a kind, compassionate, outgoing father of two beautiful children.  He is the type of guy that would give you “the shirt off his back”, always smiling and lending a helping hand.  He’s a small business owner, working with his brother Patrick outdoors doing manual labor with their business All Amish Structures , so this accident impacts his ability to support himself and his children financially.  As a single Dad, he has primary custody of his 13 and 16 year old son and daughter and the financial responsibility for them. Unfortunately, there was no Plan B in place for a long term, permanent disability like paralysis.  Our brother Patrick has committed to working as hard as he can to support both of their families and since the accident has been putting in seven days a week.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
1. Prayers:  We believe in the power of prayer and ask that you join us in praying for Brian to get off of the ventilator and breathe on his own, as well as for miracles in regaining some function.
2. Please Donate - every little bit helps!
3. Share the link and story with your connections on all of your social media platforms!
4. If you work for, or know of a company that would consider doing a fundraising match, please share this story and link.
5. If you happen to live in or near the Lehigh Valley, PA area feel free to check out and support their small business All Amish Structures

My brother Brian is part of a large family - he is the third of seven children.  We are a close knit family and will continue to rally every day to support him through this challenging time.  We are grateful and blessed to have family, neighbors, business colleagues and friends from all around the world offering to help in some way.  The reality and severity of his injuries will mean that financial support is the most effective way that you can help Brian out.

On behalf of our family and our brother Brian, we THANK YOU for your prayers, your help, your generosity and support.

Note:  Funds raised during this campaign will go specially towards the care, equipment and home modifications necessary to create a safe and functional environment for Brian once he makes his way through Spinal Rehabilitation.  Because he does not have full use of his arms/hands in addition to paralysis of his lower extremities, we know for example, that he will require a power wheelchair, which costs over $15,000 alone.  His current home will not support wheelchair accessibility, so we will have to explore alternative housing as well.  As you can imagine, the costs will well exceed what we are trying to raise, but we are grateful for any assistance to ease the burden of these upcoming expenses.

With Gratitude,
