<div>Brian &amp; Cindy Hon lost their youngest son after a brief illness. Now, the home they loved and raised him in is in danger. Historic flooding hit Kentucky in April and set off a disaster declaration on state &amp; national levels. Despite not living anywhere near a flood-prone area, days of heavy rain took its toll on the Hon Home. They burned through 8 sump pumps in a valiant attempt to mitigate the damage.

<div>When the rain finally stopped and the water receded, two basement walls were left crumbling. The other two are in desperate need of repair and support. <strong>Their home literally is teetering on the edge of collapse.</strong> Repair estimates from multiple companies are averaging $150,000.

<div>Homeowners insurance won't pay because the area isn't covered as a flood zone. Because Kentucky was declared a disaster, FEMA is paying $17,000. Multiple agencies such as the Red Cross, Habitat For Humanity, Salvation Army, etc., rejected assistance for a myriad of reasons ranging from not being the right ethnicity, they are currently not providing aid to this area, and so forth.

<div>The Hons sought various loans but didn't qualify. Brian and Cindy are both disabled. Additionally, they care for 2 little geriatric dogs who've been a source of comfort to them since their son passed away. <strong>The Hon family has suffered mightily.</strong> The collapse of the home they shared with their son would be like burying him all over again. Please help reject that imagery by giving any amount at all.
