Help Brenda & Ted Wood

Ted went to surgery last night in Chapel Hill for double lung transplant.  The surgery went well but today is critical.  Please keep Ted & Brenda in your prayers.

Please help Brenda  & Ted Wood.  Ted, is battling an aggressive form of lung disease as a result of material and chemical exposure from his years spent working in the construction industry. Ted is now on the National Waiting List for a suitable lung for transplanting.  Ted has been a local builder & contractor for 40+ years in both New Hanover and Brunswick Counties. He is currently bedridden, on oxygen, and is awaiting this life saving lung transplant.
Unable to work, Ted’s truck was recently repossessed and he has had to sell all his construction tools to help make ends meet.   Brenda is currently struggling to provide care for Ted while having to work cleaning homes in order to keep food on the table. However with limited savings, insurance and income, as well as accruing medical bills, Brenda is at risk of losing her home and her only remaining vehicle. All of these worries, and the added stress of near constant doctor’s appointments, including necessary medical trips to Chapel Hill, are beginning to take their toll on Brenda’s health.
