On Friday, February 18, Ronnie Hughes had a severe cardiac episode (aka, a widow maker.) He had triple bypass surgery and spent almost a week in the hospital to improve heart function and manage his pain, blood pressure and diabetes. After being discharged on February 24, he was readmitted on February 25 for a second surgery to repair an issue with his bowel.
